Description: | Due to Bocheng Wang being indisposed due to a hand injury, we are very pleased to announce a return visit to Louth by pianist Victor Maslov. Having completed his concerto debut at the age of nine, pianist Victor Maslov graduated from the Royal College of Music in 2021, He was presented with the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Rose Bowl for his achievements at the RCM, and has gone on to win prizes in competitions across Europe. Victor was praised as “one of those people who is close to all-round mastery of his repertoire” by the New York Concert Review, following his performance at Weill Recital Hall (Carnegie Hall), New York. In the UK, he has performed at prestigious venues including the Royal Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the Royal Albert Hall, and the Cadogan Hall. Those of you who joined us at St James' in October 2023 will remember Victor's passionate performance of Pictures at an Exhibition. Expect more piano mastery at this afternoon's concert, concluding with Rachmaninoff's epic Sonata No 1.
